Brand Marketing Expert - AI Agent Evaluation

Job Description

Mercor is hiring experienced Brand Marketing Experts to help build and evaluate realistic work environments used to test advanced AI agents.

In this role, you'll use your real-world brand marketing experience to design realistic marketing tasks, create evaluation criteria, and assess how well AI agents handle the kinds of decisions professional marketers make.

The simulated environments may include tools and workflows involving email, CRM, social media, web analytics, SEO, advertising, CMS, project management, and product analytics.

What You'll Do

Design realistic brand marketing tasks based on work you have actually performed.

Define the underlying problems and decisions each task is intended to test.

Specify realistic documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states needed for each scenario.

Write or review reference answers and evaluation criteria.

Identify what separates a strong marketing response from a plausible but incorrect one.

Review AI agent attempts and evaluate their quality.

Create scenarios involving messy or conflicting marketing data, prioritization, research, reporting, QA, and multi-step workflows.

Areas of Focus

Projects may involve:

Brand and share-of-voice analysis.

Brand positioning and tracking.

Messaging consistency across channels and regions.

Distinctive brand asset management.

Marketing channel and tactic decisions.

Brand investment decisions.

Analysis of marketing performance data.

Requirements

Hands-on professional experience in brand marketing.

Experience owning or contributing significantly to positioning, brand tracking, and brand investment decisions.

Comfortable interpreting brand-tracking studies and share-of-voice data.

Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

Strong written reasoning and ability to clearly explain marketing decisions.

Previous experience building AI training environments, reinforcement-learning environments, or simulated case studies is strongly preferred.

Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification is strongly preferred.
