Frontend Engineer Specialist - AI Training

Job Description

Micro1 is hiring experienced Frontend Engineers to contribute their technical expertise to a project helping train next-generation AI systems.

This role combines hands-on frontend engineering knowledge with strong technical reasoning and written communication. You'll evaluate code and architecture, explain engineering decisions, provide structured feedback, and create technical documentation based on real-world frontend development scenarios.

No previous AI experience is required.

What You'll Do

Analyze frontend engineering problems and clearly explain technical and architectural decisions.

Evaluate and critique code samples, component architectures, and state management approaches.

Provide detailed, actionable code review feedback.

Create technical documentation such as RFCs, ADRs, and design notes.

Explain frontend concepts including performance optimization, accessibility, and rendering strategies.

Work with SSR, CSR, and SSG concepts and evaluate appropriate implementation approaches.

Participate in simulated code reviews and technical discussions.

Provide expert frontend engineering input that helps improve AI models on real-world software development tasks.

Requirements

3+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.

Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and modern HTML/CSS.

Solid understanding of component architecture and state management.

Knowledge of frontend performance optimization.

Familiarity with web accessibility and inclusive development practices (a11y).

Experience with server-side, client-side, and static-site rendering strategies.

Ability to write clear technical documentation and code review feedback.

Excellent written English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with leading technology organizations or strong academic institutions is considered an advantage.
