Visual Creative Expert - AI Image Evaluation

Job Description

micro1 is hiring 20 Visual Creative Experts for a remote project focused on evaluating and curating high-quality visual content for AI training.

This role is suited to people with a strong creative eye and professional experience in areas such as photography, art direction, graphic design, illustration, or visual curation.

You'll review images, judge their aesthetic and technical quality, select strong examples, and explain the reasoning behind your decisions. No prior AI experience is required.

What You'll Do

Review curated collections of aesthetic images.

Evaluate images for overall visual quality and creative value.

Assess composition, lighting, color, styling, originality, and technical execution.

Select images that demonstrate particularly strong artistic and visual qualities.

Write clear explanations supporting your selections and critiques.

Collaborate with project trainers and other visual specialists to align on evaluation standards.

Maintain consistent standards across different visual genres and formats.

Adapt to evolving evaluation guidelines and project requirements.

Help develop diverse, high-quality visual datasets for AI training.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional experience creating or evaluating visual work in areas such as photography, art direction, graphic/brand design, illustration, or curation.

Strong visual judgment and ability to identify high-quality composition, lighting, color, styling, and originality.

A portfolio or track record demonstrating strong creative work and artistic judgment.

Experience critically evaluating or selecting images or other visual content.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to provide detailed and constructive feedback.

Awareness of current visual trends, cultural references, and emerging aesthetics in photography and design.

Ability to work independently and consistently meet project deliverables in a remote environment.

Contract & Compensation

This is a remote contractor opportunity with 20 openings.

Compensation is advertised at $21-$70 per hour.
